  • Shipping is not included in the cost of goods.
  • Wholesale customers must pay the cost of shipping from our Melbourne warehouse.
  • We ship with Australia Post, both within Australia and overseas.
  • Shipping will be charged according to Australia Post standard charges.
  • We can ship by Express Post on request.
  • Once we have delivered goods to Australia Post for shipment to you, the goods become your responsibility because ownership passes to you upon us delivering the goods to Australia Post.
  • On request, we can add to your shipping charge the cost of Insurance for any shipments through Australia Post.

SHIPPING INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

  • If shipping outside Australia, you are responsible for any taxes and charges that may be incurred in the receiving country.
  • Although we generally ship internationally with Australia Post, if you prefer a different shipper or courier service, please let us know so that arrangements may be negotiated.
  • For shipping to the USA, any relevant tariffs must now be collected by La Sierra for payment to USA authorities before goods are shipped from Australia.  The process for this is subject to change at short notice so please contact us direct to confirm arrangements.

Alpaca Shearling

Our 100% natural Alpaca shearling is a soft, textured fleece made from the hide of the Alpaca. It is typically used to create toys, rugs, and cushion covers. It is undyed and minimally processed, and carries each animal's unique texture, colour, and character.

Because shearling is only sourced as a by-product of the local food industry or from natural losses due to the extreme conditions of the Andes, it is not always available. We work in very small batches and only produce when the material is ethically sourced and available in its naturally occurring tones.

This approach ensures minimal waste and reflects our deep respect for the animals and the land. Our partners work directly with small farming cooperatives in southern Peru, helping preserve traditional livelihoods and honouring the natural rhythm of life in the Andean highlands.
