Values in Focus: The Transparent Journey of La Sierra 🔍

This month I wanted to spend some time delving into the core values that shape La Sierra. Transparency, a cornerstone of our ethos, is more than just a policy—it’s a promise to you that we share deeply with you about all our practises and processes.

This week, we invite you to explore what transparency means to us and why it remains a fundamental pillar of our identity.

The Essence of Transparency

We want to support you in making conscious choices. Transparency for us comes with traceability. By being personally involved in our supply chain, we aim to bring you into our world so you can feel connected to our processes. This connection extends to the makers, their faces, the land from which our products originate, and the resources used to create what you wear.

We believe the more you feel connected to what you buy, the more meaningful it becomes to you, and the longer you will treasure it. We want to take you into the stories of your products and make every piece you choose to add to your wardrobe or home something you’re going to cherish and keep forever.

Why Transparency Matters

We are motivated by a desire to change the fashion industry and we are tired of seeing big brands take advantage of people and the planet. We believe it's the responsibility of every brand today to create items ethically and responsibly, holding themselves accountable for their impact on the world.

Transparency matters because it ensures accountability at every step. We aim to be a leading example of how fashion can be both beautiful and ethical, proving that prioritising people and the planet is not just possible but essential.

By openly sharing our processes and practices, we hope to inspire change across the industry, demonstrating that transparency leads to trust and deeper connections with our community.

Transparency in the Future

We want to keep doing better and continually improve our supply chain. This involves spending time on the land where our products come from. I am taking a trip to Peru this month, and I’m excited to share more with you as I keep learning.
