Superfine Alpaca is a beautifully soft and breathable fibre sourced from the adult Huacaya Alpaca. While Baby Alpaca comes from younger animals or the finest areas like the underbelly and neck, Superfine Alpaca is typically sheared from the back and sides of the adult Alpaca, where the fleece remains soft but offers slightly more strength and structure.

With a fibre diameter averaging between 22 and 23.5 microns, Superfine Alpaca strikes the perfect balance of softness, warmth and durability. It retains the naturally luxurious qualities Alpaca is loved for—such as thermoregulation, moisture-wicking and breathability—while offering enhanced resilience for everyday wear.
