Care for Alpaca clothing & accessories
You can spot clean any marks, and when it's time for a wash, we recommend gentle hand-washing in cool-tepid water, using a mild detergent, such as Softly for Delicates or baby shampoo.
Gently squeeze out water and don't wring the item.
When rinsed, roll in a towel or slow-spin out excess water, and lay flat to dry.
Do not Dry Clean, and NEVER tumble dry!
Luxury range - Luxe knits, Baby Alpaca range
The fibres used in our luxury range are delicate and complex. They don't need frequent washing as simply airing them will keep them fresh for a long time.
Classic Range
The Classic Jumpers should ideally be hand-washed, as above, but can be machine-washed in a 'delicates' bag and laid flat to dry.
Our Classic Scarves may shed some excess fibre, so may be washed before use. A cold, gentle machine wash is ok for this, then shake out and drape over a clothes horse to dry. A light press with cool iron is ok if needed, then brush using a clothes brush in the direction of the fibre to remove any excess fibre.

Alpaca fleece cushion covers & rugs
Give the fleece cushion cover or rug a gentle brush and a shake.
You will need a spray bottle and a brush or comb to care for and clean your alpaca fleece cushion cover. Fill the spray bottle with water and a drop of shampoo or conditioner (curly hair ones work well). Please give them a light spray and a brush, then let them air dry, ideally in the sun.
It’s also ok to wipe gently with a damp cloth and shake to fluff up the fleece.
DO NOT immerse in water or put in a washing machine!
